completely traditional photo album for replacing old, vintage wedding
albums that are torn, worn out, faded, or simply falling apart, this set
of leather albums make a great, brand new photo presentation of wedding
or family pictures.
Leather Albums are the most elegant and professional way of displaying wedding and family pictures. Genuine leather is made from animal hides, such as cattle, buffalo or oxen, and as such, are typically more expensive than Faux-Leather. Faux leather is made from a plastic base and then is treated with wax, dye or polyurethane to create the color and texture. Leather albums also create a unique presents when the color begins to change slightly as a process called Patination develops with age. There is nothing like a genuine leather album.
Just for informational purposes, Patina can refer to any fading, darkening or other signs of age, which are felt to be natural or unavoidable (or both). The chemical process by which a patina forms or is deliberately induced is called patination, and a work of art coated by a patina is said to be patinated. Real leather develops a patina with age.
This particular wedding album
is made from REAL leather
material with flat black pages. The pages are made to accept the fully
reversible Peel-&-Stick tape down mats. The mats accommodate 10x10,
10x8, 8x10, 7x5, 5x7, 5x5, 6x4, 4x6, 5x4, and 4x5 photos. The square
window accepts a 4"x4" photo that is inserted by sliding it into the
square hole and sliding it under the cover.
